The 2026 Hunter Innovation Festival and Roadshow has begun! At our highly successful "Igniting the Spark" warm-up event on 31 July we brought together the "Hero Innovators" from all over our region who are fundamentally changing how we live, work, and build.
In the lead-up to the main festival Hunter iF and our partner Muswellbrook Shire Council are thrilled to invite you to the Muswellbrook Roadshow, a dedicated showcase of the exciting opportunites and visionary founders driving economic evolution and transformation in the Upper Hunter.
Spotlight on Muswellbrook:
As the industrial heartbeat of the Upper Hunter, the Muswellbrook LGA is spearheading the Hunter’s economic evolution. It is fast becoming a premier hub for industrial-tech, advanced manufacturing, clean energy transition, and circular economy solutions.
This event will highlight Muswellbrook's crucial role in taking ideas from "possibility to action". This region proves that groundbreaking transformation happens when local expertise meets visionary technology.

The Road to the Main Event
The Muswellbrook Roadshow is one of the most important stops on our region-wide tour. After kicking off the innovation spotlight in Cessnock (22 September) and delving deeper in Maitland (30 September) we’ll continue celebrating and conclude on the unique industrial strengths of our local communities.
All of this incredible regional momentum culminates on Tuesday 24 November 2026, where we bring the entire region together at NEX in Newcastle for the massive, full-day Hunter Innovation Festival.
