Vancouver Emerging Technology Showcase (by TKS)
The TKS Vancouver Showcase is an opportunity to see what young people are building at the edge of emerging technology.
The goal of this event is simple: to give you a glimpse into what the future can look like when ambitious young people are given the tools, community, and support to start building early.
Some examples: students using AI to design mRNA vaccine blueprints, exploring drone technology for delivery, creating more immersive VR and gaming experiences, and building brain-computer interface projects to help people with disabilities better interact with the world
This event is open to the TKS community — current students, incoming students, alumni, families, and friends,as well as people in the Vancouver ecosystem, including mentors, founders, investors, entrepreneurs, and operators.
You’ll leave with a better understanding of what students are capable of, what alternative education for the future can look like, and why there’s real reason to be optimistic about the next generation.

Guest Speaker: Rahul Behal, Co-founder of Gumloop
We’ll also be joined by Rahul Behal, co-founder of Gumloop (recently raised a $50M Series B), a company helping people build AI-powered workflows and agents without needing to code.
Rahul will join us for a short panel on the future of AI agents, how they’re changing the way we work, what becomes possible when anyone can build with them, and what this means for young people growing up in an AI-native world.
