How to Show Up: Practical Tools to Support People in Life's Hardest Moments
Hosted by Sarah Kagan, Founder, Keriah Grief Coaching
Supporting someone through a difficult time isn’t always intuitive, and many people want to help but aren’t sure what’s actually useful. From knowing what to say to understanding how to show up consistently, moments of grief or loss can feel uncertain without guidance.
This supportive, peer-led conversation focuses on practical ways to show up with confidence and care when someone in your life is experiencing grief or loss.
Attendees can expect to:
Learn practical ways to support friends, family, or colleagues during difficult times
Discuss what’s helpful (and what’s not) when someone is grieving
Leave with greater confidence and compassion in showing up for others
About the Host: Sarah Kagan is the founder of Keriah Grief Coaching, a space dedicated to helping people speak, share, and move through grief with openness and support. Drawing from the Jewish mourning ritual keriah—a symbol of both heartbreak and openness—Sarah facilitates conversations, workshops, and group coaching that center honesty, connection, and the belief that grief can be held together, not alone. Prior to this work, she spent several years in product marketing roles at Toast and DoorDash, bringing a thoughtful, practical approach to how she supports others.
