Shapes of Change: Time Lapse Dance + Pre-Show Talk & Reception
Just days after Earth Day, join Women of Culture to reflect on our relationship with the natural world through dance.
Join us on Friday, April 24th to step into an evening where movement, conversation, and celebration come together with Shapes of Change, part of Time Lapse Dance’s 25th Anniversary Season, led by choreographer Jody Sperling.
The experience begins with a pre-show talk and toast, offering insight into the artistic process and environmental themes behind the work. This is followed by a performance of Program A, showcasing the company’s signature blend of visually striking choreography, swirling costuming, and nature-inspired movement.
Expect an immersive atmosphere where movement extends beyond the stage, drawing you into a dynamic interplay of light, motion, and storytelling. With limited capacity and an intimate setting, this is a rare chance to experience the work up close and connect directly with the artists behind it.
The evening will also honor Gail Papp, a trailblazing producer and advocate in the performing arts. Guests are invited to celebrate her remarkable contributions, hear stories from her impactful career, and gather with fellow art lovers during a special 25th anniversary reception following the performance.
