This event is in our living room, with a small dog and cat on premises. Spots are limited!
7:00 - arrivals, social time

Before and after, we have general social time!
You can bring snacks, wine, pop, or whatever you'd like to share. But there's also no need to bring anything.
We have herbal tea (hot and cold) available and there is usually a lot of snacks available with lots of leftovers.
It's about community, friendship and learning together more than anything. :)

Trans Lives, Representation & the Power of the Media
What happens when much of what society thinks it knows about trans people comes from movies and television?
Featuring Laverne Cox and other leading trans artists, thinkers and activists, Disclosure takes an eye-opening look at more than a century of trans representation on screen — and how those images have shaped attitudes toward trans people in real life.
A fascinating exploration of gender, identity, pop culture and the enormous power of representation.
ACCLAIM: An extraordinary 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics praising it as an illuminating and comprehensive examination of trans representation and its real-world consequences.
