Becoming the Woman Who Expects to Be Taken Seriously

Hosted by Shannon M. Quinn
Transformation & Identity Advisor

So many capable, intelligent women walk into rooms already braced—braced to prove themselves, braced to not take up too much space, braced to not be misunderstood or overlooked. This conversation explores what actually changes when you stop hoping to be taken seriously and start expecting it. Not through confidence hacks or performing authority, but through a deeper internal shift that changes how you show up, speak, and make decisions.

Drawing on six years of coaching women, leaders, and high-level performers through this transition, we’ll talk honestly about identity, visibility, and what happens when authority stops being something you work for—and becomes something you carry.

Attendees can expect to:

  • Understand the internal shift that changes how others perceive and respond to you

  • Learn how identity—not performance—shapes confidence, presence, and authority

  • Recognize the subtle ways women minimize themselves in professional spaces

  • Walk away with a clearer sense of how to show up with grounded, authentic authority

About The Host: Shannon M. Quinn is a Transformation and Identity Advisor who helps women stop overthinking and start showing up in a way that actually gets them what they want, in their work and in their relationships. She’s known for helping women shift out of second guessing, overworking, and trying to prove themselves, and into what she calls The Recalibrated Woman, the version of you who expects to be taken seriously and is.

Her work blends identity shifts, nervous system work, and energetics in a way that feels grounded, practical, and easy to apply in real life. Over the last six years, she has coached celebrities, actors, and high-level entrepreneurs, and built a community of over 160,000 women who are ready to stop playing small and start being recognized for who they are and what they bring.

After overcoming severe panic and anxiety, Shannon now teaches from lived experience with a direct, honest, slightly sassy approach that helps women feel more confident, more relaxed, and a lot more powerful in how they move through the world.
