On Being · Staying Authentic with AI
Want some perspective on how you use AI in your work and life?
Join us for three sessions where you notice how AI is shaping who you are and leave with your own intentions for how you use it.
AI is now woven into how we write, think, decide and present ourselves. Most of the conversation is about productivity. Far less of it asks what daily use is quietly doing to our voice, our judgement and our sense of who we are.
Large language models smooth out how we speak. They iron out the imperfections and quirks that mark us out as ourselves. We borrow the model's confidence, and it can feel like a superpower. But while we learn to command our AI tools, are we handing over our agency, letting our skills slip and losing touch with our own intuition?
🔍 WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE
Across three sessions we will look at our relationship with AI: how it shapes who we are, how it shows up in our relationships with others and how we want to grow alongside it. Drawing on queer thinking and creative techniques, we will consciously reframe how we work and live with it.
The sessions will be conversational and explore how to reclaim your voice, values and creative judgement amid the current pace of change.
🗓️ THE SESSIONS
Three standalone online sessions of 90 minutes, designed to build on one another. You can attend one or all three.
Session 1: On Being
Tues 10th Nov, 18:00–19:30 GMT
How is AI shaping your sense of who you are? Noticing the micro-moments where you might abandon yourself when using it.
Session 2: On Belonging
Tues 24th Nov, 18:00–19:30 GMT
How is AI changing the way you relate to other people? Exploring connection and intimacy, and getting honest about how we are using these tools.
Session 3: On Becoming
Tues 8th Dec, 18:00–19:30 GMT
How do you want to grow alongside AI? Keeping your skills and instincts honed, and leaving with your own intentions for working with it.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE SESSIONS
These are discussion spaces, not lessons.
We will work as a thought collective: a small group thinking out loud together, building on each other's ideas and seeing further than any of us would alone.
Each session mixes group conversation, simple exercises and breakouts, with some solo time for your own reflection.
YOU'LL LEAVE WITH
A new perspective on your relationship with AI.
Practical and more considered ways of using AI.
A set of guides and principles for how you want to use AI, shaped by the conversations.
PRICING
£15 per session, or £35 for all three.
WHO SHOULD JOIN
You use AI habitually and want to stay congruent with your values.
You sense it is subtly reshaping how you show up, you like some of that and not all of it, and you want to look at it properly.
You may be highly proficient and still concerned about what it is doing to your judgement.
WHO IS RUNNING THIS
These sessions are run by Alex Eisenberg and Angel Perez.

❓ FAQs
Do I need to come to all three?
You don't. Each session stands on its own, so you can come to one, two or all three. But the sessions do build, so the full set gives you the most and gives us a chance to become more of a group.
Are these anti-AI sessions?
Not at all. We both use AI a lot and expect to keep using it. This is about using AI on your own terms, rather than drifting into whatever it makes easy.
Do I need to know much about AI?
No technical expertise needed. If you use AI habitually, you have everything you need. If you are highly proficient, you will find plenty here too, because the questions are about judgement rather than skill.
What do you mean by a thought collective?
A group that thinks together rather than being taught. Nobody has the answers on AI, including us. We bring questions and some structure, and the insight comes from the group.
Will there be a recording?
Main sessions are recorded and shared with everyone who booked. Breakout conversations are not recorded.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just access to an AI model you already use, whether that is Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Kimi or another. A free account is fine.
How many people will be there?
Sessions will happen in small groups of no more than 15 people to support discussion.
How did we price this?
We've priced this low because it's an early run of this work. We want to invite an experimental atmosphere and make sure cost isn't a barrier to joining.
Do you offer refunds?
You can request a refund up to one week before a session. This is to respect the limited capacity of the group: if someone cannot make it, we want to offer that place to somebody else. Bundle tickets can be refunded in full up to one week before the first session.
