About Event

AI is reshaping how your organization operates — but without a governance framework, every decision your team makes is a gamble. This exclusive hands-on, two-hour workshop gives Charlotte-area leaders the clarity and tools to move from reactive AI adoption to intentional, defensible governance.

Using the REAL method — Rooted, Embedded, Actionable, Legible — you'll work through a real-world case study, identify your organization's specific governance gaps, and leave with action steps and tools you can put to work immediately.

This workshop is designed for leaders who are accountable for how AI is used or built in their organizations, but don't have the resources to confidently execute governance.

You'll walk away with:

  • A clear picture of what sound, practical AI governance is and how it impacts decision-making

  • Experience applying standards-based AI governance principles using a realistic case study

  • Practical next steps and templates grounded in the REAL framework

Who should attend: Operations leaders, CTOs, founders, risk managers, product and compliance leads, and anyone responsible for AI strategy at a growth-stage company, nonprofit, university, or regulated organization.

Attendee feedback: "I think the setting and location was ideal for a workshop like this and it was a great mix of working with others and some practical examples I can bring back to my organization." - Charlottesville, VA participant, April 2026
