​Mike will share his experience raising pre seed and seed funding, finding the right co founder, building an early team, searching for product market fit, and navigating the decisions and uncertainty that come with building a company from scratch.

​Stoa is a growing London fintech startup that recently raised $2.4m and works closely with banks and merchants to rethink how people use their savings. Through Stoa’s 12 month Pots, customers set aside cash and receive lifestyle benefits upfront, giving their money more immediate value without having to invest or spend it. Having built and co-funded the business, Mike will share a current and practical perspective on what building a young Fintech company actually looks like behind the scenes.
