About YVC
The Yale Venture Club of Students and Scholars (YVC) is Yale University’s first university-wide community dedicated to entrepreneurship and venture capital. YVC is affiliated with the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (Tsai CITY), Yale’s official hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Founded in 2021, YVC brings together aspiring investors, researchers, founders, faculty members, students, and alumni across the Yale community. It has grown into a close-knit network of several hundred members, while building connections with more than 30 global venture capital firms and family offices, 20+ innovation platforms and professional organizations, and 60+ university entrepreneurship and investment communities worldwide.
As a multidisciplinary platform, YVC runs a range of initiatives, including Project RAW, masterclasses, fellowship programs, closed-door roundtables, Pitch Days, company visits, and U.S.-China summits, creating opportunities for Yale founders and investors to connect, learn, and expand their impact across emerging industries.
In 2025, YVC established the YVC Foundation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supported by contributions from Yale alumni. Going forward, YVC will continue to expand its Trustee network, Advisory Board, and Alumni Network to strengthen its long-term community and institutional reach.
