The Experience
Step inside Planet Studio, the premiere recording facility in Montreal, and hear more water like never before. For one day only, chuong’s debut EP will be presented in Dolby Atmos, with 10 songs mixed and mastered for 13 speakers placed throughout the studio room. This state-of-the-art environment is designed to immerse you completely in sound, surrounding you from every angle for a rare and powerful listening experience.
What Are The Slots?
The event runs from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Guests will select a one-hour slot for the listening experience inside the Dolby Atmos room. After your listening session, you are welcome to explore the other spaces art exhibitions, photography, interactive installations, tattoos, food, and merch for as long as you’d like.
About the Artist: chuong
chuong is a Vietnamese-Canadian artist shaping a sound he calls soft hyperpop—music that’s resampled, glitched, and twisted into something raw yet emotional. Formerly a secretive meme-rap persona and an intern at an LA K-R&B label, he’s now co-founder of Montreal’s Bahay Collective. Blending hyperpop, indie, folk, country, and hip hop, chuong makes genre-bending music that defies expectations. His latest EP water showcases these influences—most vividly on fade away, where heavy autotune collides with Vietnamese instrumentation and an indie band.
