Your First Stitch: A Quilt Block Workshop

​Have you been curious about learning how to sew? This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through the basics as you create your very own quilt block. No prior experience needed!

​Led by Amber Buckanaga, you’ll learn foundational sewing skills along with helpful tips and tricks, from using a sewing machine to setting up your pattern and working with bias tape. With guidance along the way, you’ll move step by step through the process and leave with a finished quilt block: something to hang, gift, or keep as a small celebration of what you’ve made.

​Your ticket includes a selection of fabrics to choose from, along with access to sewing machines and all the tools you’ll need.

​We’ll gather at Sew It Together, an inclusive sewing and craft space in Northeast Minneapolis designed to help you learn, create, and reconnect with the art of making.
