AI for Women: Wired Your Way
There is no one, right way to work with AI. But there is one, right way for you.
Most AI training teaches one workflow to a room of very different people, then wonders why only a handful of them stick with it. This session does the opposite. You will find out how you personally approach AI, and then see exactly how to shape a tool that works that way. Bring your assessment report and we will put it to work while we are together.
Why women, and why this room
The headlines keep saying women are behind on AI. The data underneath says something more interesting. Women tend to arrive at AI with the harder questions first: is this accurate, who does this affect, what happens to the people on my team. In a moment when most organizations are racing to deploy AI as fast as they possibly can, that instinct is not hesitation. It is exactly the judgment responsible adoption requires.
So this hour is not about catching up. It is about naming how you already think, and then putting AI to work in that shape.
What we heard in June
On June 2 we sold out the AI for Women Conference in Durham and ran a waitlist. At the end of the day we put up a wall of sticky notes and asked everyone what they wanted next. Two answers came back over and over: make it more hands on, and make it specific to me.
This session is the direct answer to both.
Before you join, take the free assessment
Take the AI Personality Assessment at aipersonalitytypes.com. It is free, it takes about 10 minutes, and your report is instant. Download it or have it handy in your email because you will use it live.
How this is different from DISC or Big Five
DISC tells you how you communicate. Big Five tells you how you are built in general. Both are useful, and neither one tells you a single thing about how you will work with AI.
The AI Personality Assessment measures three things that actually predict that: how much curiosity you bring to something new, how much structure you need before you commit, and how you process change (out loud with other people, or on your own first). Those three combine into the 8 AI Personality Types, mapped onto the adoption curve so you can see exactly where you sit.
Behavioral science-proven
It scores you on a scale, not in a box. Assessments that force a gradual trait into an either-or label are famously unstable. MBTI is the well documented example, where roughly half of people get a different type when they retake it five weeks later. You get a score from 0 to 100 on every one of the eight types, a primary, and a close secondary, the way a wing works in the Enneagram.
The output is a set of instructions, not a paragraph about yourself. It tells you where AI will help you fastest, where it is most likely to frustrate you, and how to work with the people whose type is the opposite of yours.
What we will build together, live
We will take a report and turn it into a reusable Claude skill or custom GPT, live, so you can see exactly how it is done. It becomes context your AI carries into every conversation, so it stops handing you generic answers and starts responding the way you actually work. If you are a Guardian, it shows you its sources before it makes a claim. If you are a Catalyst, it skips the preamble and gives you three options.
You do not need to be technical to follow this. If you can copy and paste, you can do it. One of us leads the build while the other watches the chat, and we move at a pace that gets you the whole method inside the hour. You will also get time to think through what you would want your own version to do differently, which is the part most people skip.
What you will leave with
Your AI Personality Type, and a clear read on what it predicts about where AI helps you and where it fights you
A live walkthrough of how a report becomes a reusable Claude skill or custom GPT, so you can rebuild it on your own time.
A repeatable method for shaping any AI tool around how you work, instead of bending yourself around the default
Shared language for mixed team, so you can tell the difference between a teammate who is blocking AI and a teammate who is protecting you from a bad rollout
Who this is for
Women and nonbinary leaders, and anyone who wants to understand how they are wired for this work. Two thirds of the women in our June room were already using AI weekly and still felt like they were guessing.
This is especially good for you if you are responsible for getting a team to actually use the AI tools you are already paying for, if you are a founder doing the work of five people, or if you have tried AI, gotten a mediocre answer, and quietly decided it was not for you.

She is the author of The AI Gap: Women, AI, and the Next Great Leap Forward (released June 1) and Glass Ceilings and Sticky Floors, a book endorsed by Mel Robbins and SUCCESS Magazine. Erica hosts Glass Ceilings and Sticky Floors and co-hosts AI Voice or Victim. She founded HER Collective, a fast-growing community for ambitious women who are looking to accelerate their climb up the corporate ladder without burning out. She has been trusted by CBS News, Forbes, Gallagher, CHIEF, Butterball, and many others. Her mission is clear: to advance more women into positions of power and keep them there.
Bring your questions
We are saving real time at the end for Q&A. If you want to go further after this, whether that is individual coaching, a team version of the assessment (the AI Team Map), or a hands on workshop for your organization, we will walk through those options and answer whatever you bring.
There will be a longer, in-person build session coming up in September TBA where we slow all the way down and build alongside you, and you will hear about it first.
