Teach-In: Stop DTES Mega Gentrification Plan!

​Vancouver Mayor and Council decided to send a massive rezoning plan for the Downtown Eastside-Oppenheimer District (DEOD) to a public hearing on December 9th at 6pm.

​The City wants to let developers build huge 32-storey gentrifier towers and cut social housing requirements from 60% to just 20%, with only 4% at shelter rates.

​This plan will decimate the DTES and Chinatown through gentrification.
