A Special Program Connecting Global Startups, Investment Communities, and Business Opportunities
Building on the growing interest and opportunities for exchange generated by Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, this program aims to transform these connections from a one-time opportunity into continuous collaboration.
Through Nakanoshima Qross, we seek to foster an international life science innovation ecosystem and investment community that connects startups, investors, corporations, research institutions, and global innovation hubs.
The program will feature three events. In addition to introducing activities and initiatives by overseas life science clusters, VCs, and CVCs, promising Japanese startups will deliver pitches designed to facilitate new business matching and international collaboration among investors, corporations, and startups.

Has supported clinical research and pharmaceutical marketing for more than 40 pharmaceutical companies.
・ BiPSEE, Inc.: Develops digital therapeutics and mental healthcare solutions for depression and other mental health conditions, leveraging virtual reality (VR) and AI technologies.
・SPHinX Inc.: Development of highly sensitive rapid infectious disease diagnostic kits by applying "Smart ∞™," a technology that enables simple biomarker concentration
Apollon Inc.: Developing technology that uses near-infrared spectroscopy to measure information equivalent to a blood test simply by shining light on the palm of the hand for five seconds.

・ALAN, Inc.: A medtech startup originating from the Keio University School of Medicine, developing healthcare and medical solutions primarily in the areas of sleep apnea syndrome (SAS) and neurological disorders.
SMILE CURVE Inc.: A medical startup focused on the early detection of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. The company is developing a novel, non-radiation-based screening system that visualizes spinal curvature with high accuracy. By combining Japan’s unique moiré topography method with 3D scanning technology, the system can be used in school screenings and medical institutions.
BioBytes Inc. is a physician-founded digital health and biotechnology company dedicated to sarcopenia, a major cause of falls, disability, and loss of independence in aging populations. Its flagship platform, MyoTest, combines AI-based analysis of gait, balance, and chair-stand performance with clinical data and biomarkers to enable objective and scalable muscle-health screening and monitoring. MyoTest is already used in more than 30 clinics, with hospital validation and medical-device regulatory development underway. BioBytes also operates M-Bank, a 15-year prospective sarcopenia cohort and biobank integrating longitudinal clinical assessments, physical-function data, blood and muscle tissue samples, and multi-omics data. This proprietary infrastructure enables the company to connect real-world patient phenotypes with biomarker validation and therapeutic-target discovery. BioBytes has identified five biomarker-derived targets and is advancing hit-based in vitro and in vivo validation, while seeking pharmaceutical partners for co-development and licensing. The company’s integrated model spans early detection, precision intervention, and drug discovery for healthy aging.
