Mentor Panel
Shanil Patel
Shanil is a Senior Product Designer at Customer.io, where he's helping weave AI into the core of a SaaS product, figuring out what it should do, how it should feel, and how to build a design practice around it. He's spent time at AWS shipping generative AI tools and has worked across SaaS, enterprise, and data-heavy products over the years. These days, he's mostly thinking about how AI is changing the way designers work and what that means for anyone trying to grow a career in the space.
Amar Chheda
Amar Chheda is an AI/ML engineer focused on real-world problems across deepfake detection, manufacturing vision, and AI-driven cybersecurity. He also leads AICamp Atlanta, where he has helped grow a 4,000+ member community through meetups, hackathons, and practical conversations about AI. As a longtime ADPList mentor, he supports students and early-career professionals navigating the field. His approach is simple: no hype, just clarity. He believes AI should serve real problems and real people.
Deepak Shrivastava
Deepak Shrivastava, Director at Quinnox, works on the part of AI most people skip: making it work when the stakes are real. He's built everything from computer vision analyzing animal behavior for pet food to autonomous agents handling payments and compliance for major banks. What drives him is the gap between the demo and deployment—what it actually takes to run AI at scale when millions depend on it. His perspective is simple: the GenAI era won't reward the best prompt engineers. It'll reward the people who can ship systems that work in production, not just in pitch decks.
