AI Agents for Health: ClawBio Hackathon
Build AI agents for genomics, pharmacogenomics, and digital health using ClawBio, the open-source bioinformatics agent framework.
What you will do
Work in teams to extend ClawBio with new skills, improve existing ones, or build novel agent workflows for real-world health and genomics challenges. ClawBio provides 40+ executable bioinformatics skills that run locally on your machine; your job is to push the boundaries.
Challenge tracks
New skill development: add a bioinformatics skill to ClawBio (variant annotation, pathway analysis, clinical reporting, or your own idea)
Agent workflows: chain multiple skills together to solve a multi-step genomics question
Equity and access: use the HEIM equity scoring framework to audit representation gaps in genomic datasets
What to bring
A laptop with Python 3.10+ installed
Curiosity about genomics, AI agents, or both
No bioinformatics experience required; we will pair domain experts with developers
