About Event

A new monthly edition of short films curated by Edward Frumkin and William George-Louis

Curated by Edward Frumkin and William George-Louis, All Starrs highlights all types of moving-image art and is open to what a "film" can be. Unlike most short screenings, the Q&As at All-Starrs happen after each short is screened instead of a big group session after all the films are played.

This November edition of All-Starrs features several alumni of Filmmaker Magazine's 25 New Faces of Independent Film and delves into comedic, dramatic, and documentary realms. Collectively, this month's cohort recently screened at Film Forum, Rooftop Films, NewFest, and New/Next. They are going present their early shorts with us for one night only in celebration of their career milestones.
