Feminist Documentary Night is a free monthly event we host in our home.
We're in the Dundas West Neighbourhood, (address upon registration) and the event is co-hosted by Business Coach Laura-Jean Bernhardson and RMT Becca Lemire.
This event is in our living room, with a small dog and cat on premises. Spots are limited!
7:00 - arrivals, social time
7:30 - movie starts
Before and after, we have general social time!
You can bring snacks, wine, pop, or whatever you'd like to share. But there's also no need to bring anything.
We have herbal tea (hot and cold) available and there is usually a lot of snacks available with lots of leftovers.
It's about community, friendship and learning together more than anything. :)

How do we reconcile a beloved cultural icon with the stories of the women he harmed?
Director W. Kamau Bell takes on the extraordinarily complicated legacy of Bill Cosby — groundbreaking entertainer, champion of Black representation, respected public figure and a man accused of sexual assault by dozens of women.
Over two evenings, we’ll watch this acclaimed four-part documentary series and explore the intersections of gender, race, celebrity, power, sexual violence and who society chooses to believe.
It’s a difficult story, but an important one — and one that raises big questions about how we respond when someone we admire turns out not to be who we thought they were.
ACCLAIM: A remarkable 99% on Rotten Tomatoes from 69 critic reviews. The series received four Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series and Outstanding Directing, and won additional documentary honours including a Black Reel Award for Outstanding Documentary.
January is a two-part event on consecutive Tuesdays.
Join us for both nights! Tuesday January 19 and 26, 2027.
