Sacred Sexuality: A Psychological Perspective with Dr. Yaacov Lefcoe. C. Psych
This talk will provide an overview of the field of Sacred Sexuality/Neo-Tantra from the perspective of a clinical and counselling psychologist familiar with the field, its communities and practices.
Topics include: Impersonal, Personal and Transpersonal sexuality; “transformational” vs therapeutic work; Trauma-‘informed’, Trauma healing, and Re-traumatization; Working with archetypes; Archetypal possession and projection; Hazards and pitfalls and how psychology can help; Tantric polyamory and practice partnership.
There will be a snack break with light Israeli fare.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Yaacov Lefcoe. C. Psych is a registered clinical and counseling psychologist with an interest in spirituality and higher human development. Together with his doctorate in psychology, he is a traditionally-trained Kabbalist as well as a certified instructor of Neidan (Taoist Inner Alchemy, with Mantak Chia and Minke De Vos). He provides insight-oriented psychotherapy; teaching; and consulting services to individuals and groups.
