Shibuya × Berlin: Creative Tech Founders Night
Berlin and Tokyo both have creative scenes where technology, art, music and culture meet. Shibuya, the heart of Tokyo’s youth and pop culture, is opening its doors wider to creative tech founders from around the world.
Shibuya Startup Support, a program backed by Tokyo Shibuya City, is hosting a casual evening in Berlin for creative tech founders and startups who are curious about Japan.
Who should join
This evening is for founders and startups working at the intersection of creativity and technology, for example in music tech, entertainment, gaming, XR, art & design tech, fashion tech, and the nightlife and culture industries. Ecosystem builders, creatives and investors interested in Japan are also very welcome.

🚀 Call for Applications: Creative Tech Shibuya 2027
Thinking about bringing your creative tech startup to Japan? Creative Tech Shibuya 2027, in collaboration with DIG SHIBUYA, is a five-day residency program in Shibuya for creative tech startups considering the Japanese market.
Dates: 8–12 February 2027 (tentative), in person in Shibuya, Tokyo
What you get: pitches and product exhibitions, business matching with Japanese companies and investors, market-entry workshops, networking, and the chance to run a pilot project with Japanese companies and Shibuya City
Pilot themes this year: Night Time Economy, Culture & Entertainment, and Travel
Who we’re looking for: around 10 creative tech startups with a launched product and a serious interest in growing in Japan
Participation fee: free (travel and accommodation are covered by participants; selected startups may be eligible for travel support through JETRO)
Application deadline: Monday, 9 November 2026, 23:59 JST
