βTo have a study day with developers, cloud folks, and UX designers where we complete the learning in the Green Software for Practitioners certificate together.

βBecause it is hard to reserve the time for studying on your own.

βThe timings below are designed to allow people to have plenty of reading time. The content is not overly technical, focusing on the core principles of green digital practice.
There will be time for short breaks between blocks of learning. When we finish blocks early we add that time to our discussions.

βThe final assessment allows multiple attempts and has around 23 questions. It takes 15-20 mins to complete and does not have have a timer or time limit.

βWe're hoping to have access to a printer if you do wanted a printed certificate. Otherwise we can show the certificant on the projector/screen and take a group photo (optional of course π).
βWhat to bring
βLaptop
βif you need to borrow a laptop, there will be an option to let us know as part of the ticket sign-up.
βIf you want to use a tablet, please test that the learning works ahead of time. You can sign-up and test at The Linux Foundation website.

βWe encourage attendees to take public transport where possible. There is also plenty of bicycle parking at the University of Sussex campus π΄π»ββοΈ.
Sussex Innovation Centre have a helpful page outlining the travel options on their website. There are three Beryl electric bike stops on campus for Brighton & Hove rentable electric bicycles.
