The Safe & Together Model CORE Training provides a skills-oriented foundation for domestic abuse-informed practice, exploring assessment, interviewing, documentation, and case planning. This comprehensive four-day program teaches practitioners to identify the impact of domestic abuse on family functioning, assess perpetrators' behaviour patterns, partner with adult survivors, and intervene effectively with perpetrators. Participants will learn practical tools that can be implemented immediately to keep children safe and together with protective parents.
The Safe & Together Model CORE Training is applicable for child welfare professionals, domestic abuse specialists, social workers, family support practitioners, children's service managers, health visitors, police officers, education staff, children's reporters, mental health professionals, and any practitioners who work with families experiencing domestic abuse.
