We’re proud to join hands with IKEA to bring you a topic that's much spoken about, far less understood, but is the foundation of any scalable digital design work: Design Systems.

We will have two amazing speakers share their knowledge and experiences around understanding, building, and scaling design systems for large digital organisations.

​They will also delve into the challenges they faced during this process, their secret sauces, how they adapted to working with design systems, and so much more.

​You'll also have plenty of time to interact, ask questions, and engage with the speakers in a very informal fireside chat.

This event will take place at the vibrant offices of IKEA (Ingka Digital) located in the quietly impressive Houthaven area of Amsterdam.

​Cormac McGloin - Acting Design Systems Manager at INGKA Digital (IKEA): Cormac has been designing digital products for over 15 years, with the last 8 focused on building and maturing design systems. He is currently acting design manager of Skapa, IKEA’s digital design system, and focuses on ensuring it continues to create value at scale.

​Niels Wolf - Head of Digital Design at Philips: Niels Wolf is an experienced design professional who has led organizations through high-impact transformation, guided by calm presence, curiosity, and a deep belief in design excellence as a cultural driver. Currently leading efforts to transform Philips' digital portfolio at unprecedented scale and speed, enabling millions in savings and faster, more consistent innovation across businesses.
