Please join us for an intimate reception of cocktails and dinner at A Room at the Beach following the screening of JUMPERS. Enjoy cocktails and dinner while connecting with the filmmaker, featured athletes, and members of the equestrian community as we celebrate the end of summer, Hamptons Classic week, and the premiere of JUMPERS.
JUMPERS, directed by Naomi Sedgwick, is a 16-minute documentary film about rising equestrian athlete SKYLAR WIREMAN, who’s defying the odds in a sport where wealth often determines success. Skylar proves that her dreams are possible through a combination of hard work, talent, and her bond with her horse, Tornado. Filmed over the course of two years and three different countries, JUMPERS captures what it means for a young athlete to chase her Olympic dreams and how much she is willing to sacrifice in order to make it. The short film is a proof of concept for an expanded feature-length documentary, with a planned release to align with the LA 2028 Olympics.
