Screaming Pigeons curates intimate gatherings for women in their 20s and 30s in Singapore who believe there's something magical about female friendships. We believe the best friendships don't just make life more fun; they shape who we become.

After months away, our women-only Book Hang is BACK, and just in time for spooky season!
Think horror, supernatural fiction, psychological thrillers, murder mysteries, gothic romances, or even a story about overcoming fear. We want to hear about the books that made your heart race, your imagination run wild, or your perspective shift.

A thoughtful session at a relaxed local café
Light guided prompts to ease the sharing, zero awkwardness
A little Halloween fun, literary surprises, and most importantly, a space to feel connected with like-minded women
🧛♀️ Dress Code: A Literary Figure!
Come dressed as a character from your favourite spooky book, OR give any literary character a Halloween makeover! Think a vampire Elizabeth Bennet, a haunted Alice in Wonderland, or your favourite book character with a sinister twist. Get creative, get spooky, and have fun with it!
📚 Give One, Take One: Book Exchange!
Have a book sitting on your shelf that's ready for a new home? Bring along a pre-loved book you'd love to pass on, and take home a new read from another Pigeon! A little literary recycling. Books of all genres are welcome, not just spooky ones!

📩 Before the event
We'll email you final details and open a dedicated event group chat 1–2 days before the event. If you haven't heard from us, please check your spam folder.
🌼 Good to know
Our events are intentionally kept small, so please only register if you're able to attend. If your plans change, we'd really appreciate a heads-up! Cancellations made at least 5 days before the event are eligible for a full refund.
📸 Photography
Photos and videos may be taken during the event for community and promotional purposes. If you'd prefer not to appear, simply let your host know before we begin.
