Finding Product-Market Fit
Most founders chase product-market fit—but few realize how dangerous early traction can be.
The launch hype feels great, but here’s the reality: most startups see a sharp drop after the buzz. People sign up out of curiosity, but if they don’t find real value, they leave—and many ventures never recover. So how do you know if your users truly care, or if you’re just riding the wave?
Josh deVries, CEO & co-founder of Intiveo, learned this the hard way while scaling a niche healthcare SaaS into a market leader. In this workshop, he’ll share the strategies and mindset shifts that helped his team avoid the “hype trap”—including one counterintuitive move that could change how you think about early growth.
About The Speaker
Josh deVries is the CEO and co-founder of Intiveo, patient engagement software, designed to empower dental practices to enhance patient experiences. For 15 years, he has collaborated with healthcare professionals to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. He embarked on his healthcare career at the Exan Group, where he worked with private practices before moving to Exan's academic division, axiUm. This experience, shared with his brother Nathan, highlighted a gap in the market for a patient communication service tailored specifically to healthcare specialists. A decade on, Intiveo is now the preferred communication partner for oral surgeons and other dental specialists.
