An introductory workshop to making linocut woodblock prints!
If you’re looking to try a new artform, making linocut prints can be a meditative and freeing process of letting go and embracing imperfection, as you are creating without fully knowing how it will turn out.
You will leave the workshop with new basic skills for linocut printing and linocut blocks that you can use to make more prints of your newest piece!
In this workshop we will be creating linocuts based on imagery from dreams we've had, to go with the symbolic and dreamlike quality of linocut prints. Think of a dream you’d like to carve and turn into a print, and prepare a design to carve during the workshop! 😊
