Newark is a city built on raw talent, deep roots, and unstoppable creative energy. For Newark WellFest 2026, we are turning the festival into a massive showcase of community expression, and we want our local creators to lead the charge. Whether you heal people through song, paint the stories of our streets, or speak truth to power through poetry, this is your stage.
We are officially issuing a call for creators across all mediums:
Performers: Singers, Bands, Rappers, Poets, Spoken Word Artists, and Dancers.
Visual Artists: Painters, Muralists, Sculptors, and Live Digital Creators.
⚠️ High Competition & Extremely Limited Slots
This is an incredibly high-competition showcase. To ensure a premium, high-impact experience for the community, slots for performers and featured visual artists are extremely limited. We are looking for the absolute best of Newark’s creative engine—those ready to bring immense energy, professional execution, and a true vibe to the WellFest stage.
📋 How to Secure Your Audition Slot
Because spots are so tight, all interested creators must submit a brief digital audition for our review committee.
What to Submit: Please send a 2 to 3-minute sample of your work. This can be a video of a live performance, an audio file of a track, a poetry reading clip, or a high-quality digital portfolio/video walkthrough of your physical artwork.
Deadline to Apply: Submissions close on August 10th, 2026.
