SVVR #101: What VR Devs Need to Know About Android
SVVR 101
100+ meetups. 13 years. One incredible community.
Silicon Valley Virtual Reality is back to our regularly scheduled programming this month with a talk by Rob Coomber, a Co-founder and Lead Developer of Fluid. His talk will cover technical challenges of building a new kind of browser in XR including media streaming, rendering systems, and why their solutions required a deeper understanding of the Android operating system and platform.
You’ll also hear from Matthew Belland, Android Developer at Pico, about how Pico is building spatial apps for their multi-tasking OS. He'll demonstrate how you too can build apps that break through traditional form-factor limitations.
