Mosaic Coaster Workshop | SF
broken tiles. slow hands. unplug.
bazi's mosaic night at 710 collective is two hours of broken Heath Ceramic tiles, vibey atmosphere, music, and the kind of room where strangers turn into friends by the end of the night.
you'll DIY two large mosaic coasters to take home — your design, your colors, your weird. all materials provided. no experience needed.
🎨 what's included: two wood coaster bases — Heath Ceramics broken tiles, and grout — step-by-step guidance from sadaf (the founder) — tea, and a playlist
~the kind of room where strangers turn into friends
🎒 what to bring: something you don't mind getting a little grout on (can be washed off), yourself (solo or with a friend), a tote bag for carrying your coasters home.
optional: wine/beer, snacks
🕐 what to expect: doors open 10 minutes early, come grab a seat and tea, short intro + design exploration (15 min) — making (90 min) — wrap up, clean-up, and show-and-tell (15 min) — everyone leaves with two finished coasters and probably an instagram handle or two
💛 about bazi
bazi is persian for play. it's a san francisco maker brand running hands-on workshops for grown-ups who want to remember they're allowed to make things again. we believe play is medicine — it holds the stress, the trauma, the noise of the world — and asks only for your hands and your attention.
no experience necessary. permission to make ugly things granted.
