Audience: Kenya Code Club Leaders
Duration: 2 Sessions (60 Minutes Each)
Format: Hands-on, Project-Based Learning
Tools: Raspberry Pi Pico, Computer, Thonny IDE, USB Cable, LED (optional), Code Club Pico Resources.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
Identify the main parts of a Raspberry Pi Pico
Set up and use the Thonny IDE
Connect a Pico and install MicroPython
Write simple Python programs
Control the Pico's onboard LED
Facilitate beginner coding activities with club members
