Switch & Stitch: A Rethink The Runway Clothing Swap Market and Mending Counter
Trade It. Mend It. Wear It Again.
Attention, Bay Area sustainable fashion community! It's time for a summer closet refresh!
Join Rethink The Runway for Switch & Stitch, an evening where stylists, menders, and circular fashion enthusiasts come together to swap, repair, and reimagine what's already in your closet.
Bring a few garments to trade or repair. Leave with new-to-you pieces, a mended favorite, and a fresh take on your wardrobe.
Hungry? The Ferry Building Marketplace downstairs is packed with local food vendors — easy to grab dinner before or during the event.
Event Highlights
Curated Clothing Swap Market: Trade pieces you no longer reach for and discover something fresh by bringing up to 5 garments to trade 1:1. Meet with expert stylists to help you shop and style your best looks! Any left over clothing will be donated to St. Anthony’s Free Clothing Program.

About San Francisco Ferry Building
The Ferry Building is one of San Francisco’s most iconic landmarks. The historic waterfront destination serves as both a gateway to the city and a gathering place for the Bay Area community. At its heart is the Ferry Building Marketplace, a vibrant collection of primarily local, independently owned shops, restaurants, and artisan producers that celebrate the region’s rich culture and culinary heritage. The Ferry Building is committed to supporting small regional producers, showcasing businesses that prioritize sustainable practices, and fostering an environment where artisan entrepreneurs can grow and thrive.
Rethink The Runway is grateful to Hudson Pacific Properties for making this 2026–2027 venue partnership with San Francisco Ferry Building possible and bringing this new series of circular fashion events to the SF Bay Area community.
