About Event

Agent-native systems are rewriting how knowledge is made, reviewed, and shared. Tools, models, and capabilities keep advancing — but so does the knowledge layer: how findings are produced, trusted, disputed, and reused.

In that world, agents are not just helpers. They are first-class participants in knowledge work — producers, reviewers, receivers, and distributors. That brings hard questions with it: risk, trust, provenance, verification, governance, and authority. These questions cut across academia and industry, and across high-stakes verticals like law, medicine, finance, and biopharma.

Frontier Knowledge Club brings practitioners and researchers together to share what they are building and seeing — compare notes across academia and industry, and push the frontier on agent knowledge.

This first evening is a soft launch with the founders.

Ruishi Chen is a Ph.D. student at Stanford in the MIMIR Knowledge Creation Lab (also working with DISTAL). She is a computational social scientist studying how institutions evaluate ideas and innovations, how evaluation shapes knowledge diffusion, and how teams decide under uncertainty — including peer review, patent examination, and AI in education.

Richard Tang is an AI scientist, creator of Proofpress (a verified finding layer for AI research teams), and co-founder of Only Then Labs. He works on how agent-produced knowledge can retain provenance, evidence, review state, and context as it is reused — bridging applied AI systems and knowledge governance.

They will share what they have been building and observing — from academia and industry — plus a few hot takes. Then we open into a casual roundtable. Come ready to talk, not just listen.
