Inclusive E-waste Ecosystems: Empowering Women in the Value Chain
In February 2026, PCI India convened the First Stakeholder Consultation to bring together producer responsibility organizations, recyclers, civil society actors, technical experts, and social enterprises to reflect on field realities and emerging opportunities within the e-waste sector. That dialogue surfaced a set of clear, actionable learnings that now shape PCI's next phase of engagement with the ecosystem — moving from collection towards value addition, regulatory resilience, and stronger market integration, with women remaining central actors throughout.
A Second Stakeholder Consultation is convened as a direct continuation of that dialogue. Where the first consultation focused on understanding systemic and operational realities, this session is designed to translate those insights into concrete policy recommendations, a practical framework for enterprise sustainability, and a roadmap for shifting from CSR-funded pilots to lasting, measurable impact.
We would be delighted to have you join us as a participant in this important dialogue, alongside fellow practitioners, CSR partners, recyclers, refurbishers, researchers and policy stakeholders.
