🌿 Casa de Campo hike (women's only, free)

​Madrid's biggest park, and most madrileños have only ever seen the lake. We're going deeper. This circular loop takes you from the iconic Lago through pine forest and up to the Cerro de Garabitas, one of the highest points in the park, with sweeping views over the city skyline, before winding back down past the flamingo enclosure on the edge of the zoo. A surprisingly wild feeling walk that's entirely inside Madrid. 🦩

​Distance: 12km · Elevation: ~230 m · Time: ~3.5–4 h · Difficulty: Easy.

​Getting there / meeting point: Metro Lago (Line 10). Meet at the metro exit at 10:00am sharp.

​Return: Aiming to finish back at Lago metro by mid-afternoon.

​What to bring: Comfortable trainers or hiking shoes. Packed picnic lunch, snacks and at least 1.5L of water.

​Cost: Free. You only pay for your metro fare. 🪙 (tips in cash/coffee/transport fare for the host are welcome)
