Poetry Night

​Join us for an inspiring evening of verse and vision at the Idealist Poetry Showcase, happening Friday, December 12th from 6–9 PM. Hosted by Sedona Rose, with support from Idealist.org (the world’s largest social-impact jobs platform) this evening is free, community-focused, and open to all.

​This special event brings together celebrated poets for a showcase centered on the theme, “Idealism in a Less Than Ideal World.”

​Building on the success of June’s showcase, this showcase offers a vibrant space for artists, nonprofit leaders, and community members to connect.

​Attendees are encouraged to mingle, explore vendor tables featuring books and merchandise from performing poets, and network with others committed to creativity and positive change.

​Idealist’s media team will be on site filming sets, so poets and audience alike will share in a documented celebration of creative resilience.

​Whether you’re a poetry devotee or new to spoken word, join us for a night of beautiful words spoken well.
