About Event

An engaging conversation and guided smelling experience exploring how scent has shaped human stories throughout history. Hosted by Scentered Workshops with guest speaker Sofia Collette Ehrich. (And yes, sangria is on the house!)

Together, olfactory heritage researcher Sofia Collette Ehrich and scent educator Arielle Tai explore how fragrance connects us to people, places, and memories across time—bridging academic research with a hands-on sensory experience.

What to Expect

  • Complimentary Drinks: Sangria is on the house while we chat and smell!

  • Historical & Cultural Insights: Discover how smells have reflected social status, religious traditions, and personal rituals from sacred spaces to everyday life.

  • Guided Smelling Session: A light, hands-on experience using a selection of carefully chosen fragrance materials to bring key concepts to life.

  • Open Conversation: Explore how scent shapes our modern memories, identities, and daily experiences.

  • No Experience Required: Complete beginners welcome—just bring your curiosity and your nose.
