SHAME/less Launch Party
βSHAME/less Launch Party π
βCome celebrate the launch of the new SHAME/less anthology with us!
βSHAME/less brings together forty-nine poems by forty poets from across the world in a collection that moves, with honesty and tenderness, from shame to shedding. This is your opportunity to hear some of the poets read their work from the anthology, learn more about the creation of the book, and giggle about embarrassing moments together.
βShame thrives in isolation β let's meet up to break the cycle and celebrate poetry as a way of healing and being vulnerable.
βThese poems speak the things we have learned to keep quiet. They sit with inherited wounds and bodily discomfort, with cultural expectations and the silent weight of not-quite-fitting. They find the absurd and even the comic in our most human moments of embarrassment. Some poems simply hold space for the unspeakable; others move towards resistance, release, and recognition.
βYour ticket fee is contributing to covering the costs of creating the anthology. Thank you so much for your support!
βThe book can be purchased on Amazon: SHAME/less on Amazon
