FROM MANUAL PATROL TO SMART MONITORING
The Technology Leap in Offshore Platform Security
How can offshore security teams gain greater visibility across extensive maritime areas without replacing their existing personnel or infrastructure?
Traditional patrols and visual observation continue to play an essential role in offshore security. However, limited visibility, night operations, wide surveillance areas and rapidly evolving risks require faster, clearer and more connected information.
Drone technology can help close these operational gaps.
In this 45-minute expert webinar, Caro Hedman, CEO of Globalyx, and Lassi Lastiani, President Director of PT Interteknis Suryaterang, will discuss how drones can become an additional layer of operational intelligence for offshore facilities.
Rather than replacing security personnel, drones can strengthen existing teams by providing real-time aerial visibility, thermal monitoring, suspicious vessel verification and faster incident assessment.
WHAT WE WILL DISCUSS
• Why manual patrols and visual observation may not provide complete situational awareness across wide maritime areas.
• How drones can support security teams and complement existing procedures.
• Practical applications, including night monitoring, thermal imaging, suspicious vessel verification and emergency response.
• How drone operations can integrate with CCTV, marine radar, command centers and incident-reporting systems.
• The steps organizations can take to move gradually from a pilot project to scalable deployment with controlled risk.
