Agentic Building in the Terminal w/ ClaudeCode & Codex, anyone?
There’s been an explosion of capable agentic coding tools that run right from the terminal. Tools like Claude Code and Codex let you build, debug, and refactor through conversation and TUI‑based workflows.
Join the Agentic Builders’ Collective (ABC) for a hands-on session exploring how these tools can fit into real development workflows. We’ve been experimenting daily since launch and will share practical approaches, while learning from how you’re using these tools too.
This session is designed for developers who already code but haven’t yet tried agentic coding in the terminal. Come experiment, compare tools, and discover workflows that work for you.
🧑💻 What You’ll Work On
In this session, participants will:
Explore terminal-based AI coding agents in real development tasks
Compare approaches across Claude Code, Codex, and other TUI tools
Pick up practical techniques for config files, tmux, skills, MCP, and CLI workflows
Practice repeatable, real-world workflows to take back to your projects
Share insights and learn from other builders in the room
This session is by builders, for builders, focusing on experimentation, practical workflows, and actionable takeaways rather than theory.
⚠️ Important Notes
Bring a laptop with internet access and a terminal you can access (or Visual Studio Code as a fallback)
For Windows, WSL installation preferred if possible
Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus account recommended for full participation
Lorong AI members will be prioritised
