Climate Week: Plant Swap & Hygiene Drive
Good Things Grow: Plant Swap & Hygiene Drive
Presented by The Deborah Whitfield Memorial Foundation
In partnership with Tiny Giant Taproom.
Join us during San Diego Climate Week for Good Things Grow, a casual community gathering centered around plants, connection, and giving back.
Bring a new, unopened hygiene item and receive a free plant while supplies last. Donations will support The Deborah Whitfield Memorial Foundation’s efforts to increase access to essential resources for individuals and families in our community.
Whether you bring a hygiene donation, a plant to swap, or simply come to connect, everyone is welcome. No donation is required to attend.
🌿 What to Expect
Free plants available in exchange for new, unopened hygiene items, while supplies last
Optional plant swapping for guests who would like to bring a plant of their own
Community connection and casual socializing
A raffle for a family pack of museum tickets — every hygiene donation earns an entry
A welcoming space to enjoy a drink and meet others in the community
🍺 Sip & Support
Stay awhile and enjoy a pint with us! During the event, $1 from every pint sold will benefit The Deborah Whitfield Memorial Foundation, helping us continue creating access to resources, opportunities, and meaningful experiences for our community.
🧼 Hygiene Drive
We welcome new, unopened personal-care and hygiene items, such as:
Shampoo & conditioner
Body wash & soap
Toothbrushes & toothpaste
Deodorant
Lotion
Feminine hygiene products
Other new, unopened personal-care essentials
Hygiene donations are completely optional and are not required for entry.
Come for the plants, stay for the community, and help us grow something good together.
Good things grow when we grow together.
