Family History Gifts: Make One This Week

​Make one family history gift for one person you love, ready to print before Christmas.

​In three one-hour sessions you pick the gift, write the story and finish the file. You leave with a print-ready gift about one ancestor, made for one person.

​What you'll do

​Day 1, Wed Dec 2: Pick the one. The recipient, the ancestor, the format. Gather the image, the records, the recipe.

​Day 2, Thu Dec 3: Write the story. 300 words or less, every fact traced to a record.

​Day 3, Fri Dec 4: Assemble and print. Drop it into the template, check it against the records, and set the date you'll print it.

​Every session runs one hour and you use AI to support you in the process. Claude, ChatGPT, CoPilot, Gemini all work for this course.

​What you need ready

​One ancestor and one person to give it to.

​One real image: a photo, a record or a map.

​Any AI tool. A free plan is enough.

​What you leave with
