8 Weeks of ML: Intro to Machine Learning
Week 1: Intro to ML
Ever wondered how a maps app figures out which route might get you home faster? Or how your smartwatch makes sense of your daily activity?
There's a good chance Machine Learning has something to do with it!
We're kicking off 8 Weeks of Machine Learning with the basics. Before jumping into algorithms and code, let's understand what Machine Learning actually means, how it works, how it connects to AI, and how machines learn from the world around us.
We'll also get introduced to our first ML concept, Linear Regression, and see how something as simple as drawing a line can help a machine make predictions!
Whether you're completely new to ML or just curious about what's happening behind all the AI buzz, this session is a great place to start.
Who can join?
Students and early-career professionals with up to 2 years of experience.
No ML background needed. Just bring your curiosity and let's figure out how machines learn!
