About Event

Instructor: Arnav

Learn how to collect and record sensor measurements with an Arduino. We’ll guide you through setting up the Arduino software, connecting sensors, and configuring a working datalogger.

No previous coding or soldering experience is needed.

Materials and loaner laptops are provided for use during the workshop. Bring your own laptop if you can, so you can set up the software for future projects.

Who can attend
Open to UC San Diego affiliates only, including students, staff, and faculty. These workshops are not open to the general public.

Before you arrive
You’ll need a Sandbox account before using the makerspace. If you don’t already have one, create your Sandbox account in advance so you can spend more time making when you arrive.

If your plans change
Our workshops fill quickly, and places are limited. Please register only if you expect to attend, and cancel your Luma registration as soon as you know you can’t make it. That gives another member of the UC San Diego community a chance to participate.
