Liberty + Leadership Program Information & Recruitment Event

​The Liberty + Leadership (L+L) program is the Montreal Economic Institute's (MEI) youth program in the free market ecosystem of Canada that caters to young Canadians interested in serving in public office. The program involves an annual one-week seminar in Montreal, a paid internship program, exposure to the MEI's network, a mentorship program, and beyond. Annually, the program welcomes 50 talented young leaders from literally across Canada, Newfoundland to Vancouver Island, fully half of whom are young women. 

​The MEI is an independent public policy think tank with offices in Montreal, Calgary, and Ottawa. Through its publications, media appearances, and free advisory services offered equally to all policymakers, the MEI has been stimulating public policy debate and reforms based on established principles of market economics for more than a quarter century
