1. Shinsuke Arafuka (荒深 慎介) from Eco-Pork

  • Holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Keio University.

  • Upon graduation, joined a foreign consulting firm, supporting major manufacturing equipment manufacturers with business improvement and management strategy using data analysis, statistics, and machine learning.

  • Co-founded Eco-Pork to address the "protein crisis," which threatens the richness of our food sources.

  • Conceptualized and developed "Porker," a technology platform that supports sustainable pig farming, ensuring that pork remains a viable food option. Appointed Director of Eco-Pork in April 2021.

2. Hiroki Yokoyama (横山 洋樹) from Square Roots Japan

  • Began his career in 2006 at Nippon Television, focusing on client relations.

  • Joined Yamato Capital Partners (now YCP Holdings) in 2012, where he was engaged in hands-on management support for tech companies, focusing on new business creation, existing business restructuring, and turnaround management. He also supported the Asian expansion of Japanese firms.

  • Co-founded Square Roots Japan in 2024, overseeing coordination with the US headquarters, managing domestic and international partnerships, and leading all corporate functions including organization, finance, and legal affairs.

  • Certified Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant.
