About Event

For leaders who want to build with Africa, not just talk about it.

During AfroTech 2026, Adaptive Foundation is hosting an intimate afternoon for executives, founders and investors who want to work together on Africa's opportunities. We’ll be curating intros so that every conversation matters.

What to expect

  • Curated introductions based on what you're building and how you want to contribute

  • A Deal Flow spotlight: three founders, 60 seconds each

  • Drinks and light bites on Adaptive Foundation

Who it's for

  • Founders building for African or diaspora markets

  • Angels, VCs and family offices with an Africa, emerging-markets or diaspora thesis

  • Corporate venture, innovation and partnerships leads

  • Executives and operators who want to build with peers around the world for Africa's benefit

We're looking for kind, curious, collaborative people with a "how can I help" mindset. Your sector doesn't matter.

Good to know

  • We review every application to ensure we curate a room where each attendee finds value.

  • Doors open at 2:30 PM, and the program starts at 3:00 PM, right after the morning sessions. You'll be out in time for the Blavity Block Party at Discovery Green.

  • This is an in-person event. The venue address is shared with approved guests.

  • You don't need an AfroTech badge to attend.

  • Everyone who applies gets my guide to 70+ AfroTech week side events.
