Harvesting Solutions: Real-World Policy to Transform Food, Land and Agriculture
Join the International Climate Councils Network for an evening reception to mark the launch of its new report: 'Harvesting Solutions:
Real-World Policy to Transform Food, Land and Agriculture' at COP30.
While the transition to clean and renewable energy is well under way; the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient food system is slower and more complex. In this event, climate councils share best-practice examples of policy interventions that transform our food, land and agriculture sector so that it contributes to emissions reduction and is more resilient to climate impacts. The report will officially launch here on 10 November at 12pm GMT.
Speakers will include:
Åsa Persson (Chair, Swedish Climate Policy Council)
Dumisani Nxumalo (Co-Chair, ICCN and Acting COO, South African Presidential Climate Commission)
Kang Yoo-sik (Director of International Cooperation Division, Presidential Commission on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth, Republic of Korea)
Mykola Shlapak (Climate Policy Expert, Green Transition Office, Ukraine)
Please note: This event takes place in the Blue Zone of COP30. Official UNFCCC accreditation is required to attend.
