The AI Race For Power — In conversation with Seyed Maedaeni (CEO of Verse)
The race to AI supremacy is no longer just a race for chips. It is a race for power.
New data centers can wait years for enough power to come online. Verse is building software and energy infrastructure to change that.
Join us for a conversation with Seyed Madaeni, co-founder and CEO of Verse, which recently raised a $54M Series B led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Google Ventures, Coatue, and NVIDIA.
Event starts at 4:30pm. Seyed will begin speaking at 5:00pm. Dinner will be served at 5:45pm.
Some of the questions we’ll explore:
Why Matt? What made Seyed decide this was the person he wanted to build with?
How do you choose the first people when the company you’re trying to build requires deep expertise across software and physical infrastructure?
How did the idea for Verse change between its founding in 2022 and today’s AI-driven power crunch?
What did investors misunderstand early, and what changed as Verse went from seed to a $54M Series B?
If you were starting Verse again today, what would you do differently?
